“Something special and mysterious happens in the classroom when we open a book and end up transported elsewhere. Like at the theatre or the cinema, or before a piece of music or a work of art. The only difference, however, is that in the classroom, we are the ferrymen and in the eyes of our students we can constantly monitor the course of our navigation.”
(Isabella Pedicini)
